william morris gallery reading room – an artist’s resource

every tuesday three artists involved in the IdeasFromElse[W]here arts lab at Winns Gallery in Lloyds’s Park E17, are signing up already to use the unique research, archive, library, research resource at William Morris Gallery – whilst the gallery itself is closed to the public; Morris himself spent hours reading, thinking, making and writing about all things art and life, from ‘useful work and useless toil’ (mirrored by artist Kaprow, and artist / choreographer Yvonne Rainer and others) to the notions of ‘beauty’, art and the place of the object in the co-authored story and life….
